Founded in 2003, Porex\u2019s Center of Excellence in Ningbo, China develops reservoirs used in the writing instruments and cosmetics market. The facility also produces porous components widely used in IVD, printing system, household products, medical and biosciences applications. Porex\u2019s Asia headquarters in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia hold more than 18 years of manufacturing history. The facilities provide in-house product development and component tooling experience. A class 100K biomed room is dedicated to sophisticated healthcare industry requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This facility has become Porex\u2019s global Center of Excellence for writing instrument nibs, having expanded by 50% in 2018 to support the growth of the polyester fiber nib business in addition to sintered particle nibs. Boasting 18 years of leadership, best practices, quality improvement, support and training in writing instrument nib manufacturing and development, over 2 billion nibs were produced in Malaysia in 2018. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
