Fragrance Diffusion Gets Greener with Reeds Optimized for Water-Based Formulas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

(Fairburn, GA \u2013 December 6, 2018) \u2013 To enable the eco-friendly \nfragrance formulas growing in popularity, Porex Corporation has created a\n reed that enables water-based formulas while still providing more \nuniform, longer-lasting diffusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New environmental regulations spurred by organizations like the \nCalifornia Air Resource Board (CARB) have led to the development of \nwater-based formulas for reed diffuser products.  POREX\u2019s proprietary \nreed design offers compatibility with these more sustainable formulas \nwithout compromising diffusion performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Designed to utilize high-performance capillary action, POREX\u00ae reeds \noffer a more reliable fragrance release than the traditional rattan and \nbamboo reed diffusers standard on the market. Unlike with materials used\n in other reed technologies, diffusion in POREX\u2019s proprietary reed \ncomposition occurs along the entire length of the wick. A homogeneous \nporous structure releases a controlled rate of fragrance that \ncontinuously permeates the surrounding environment. Due to the product\u2019s\n consistent diffusion, the user experiences a steadier presence of scent\n and extended product life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, Porex\u2019s \u201cno-flip\u201d feature prevents clogging and \neliminates the need to handle the reed once initially placed in the \nfragrance solution. This avoids mess and product waste. The porous \ndesign also features unique flexibility and durability, making it more \nweather-resistant than alternative reed materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

POREX reeds are manufactured using advanced colorfast processes that \nprevent color migration as the fragrance diffuses along the reed, \neliminating fading and maintaining a premium, like-new appearance. The \nnew lineup of reeds will feature seven standard color selections \nincluding white, natural, black, yellow, lilac, light blue, and grey to \noffer a broad variety of d\u00e9cor and accent possibilities.
