While episodes have been \nscheduled through December, the series will add episodes on a monthly \nbasis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avi Robbins, vice president of global product development &amp; \nR&amp;D for Porex, will lead the 45-min. episodes and participate in a \nlive Q&amp;A at the conclusion of each discussion where engineers can \nask questions about specific applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPorous polymers play an unseen, yet crucial, role in many of the \nitems we use every day,\u201d said Robbins. \u201cThese materials provide internal\n functions including absorption, application, wicking, diffusion, \nfiltration and venting so that products \u2013 from whiteboard markers and \nprotection vents to medical devices and in vitro diagnostic tests \u2013 can \nbecome more innovative and their performance optimized in their \nrespective industries. I look forward to educating more engineers on the\n power of these materials so that they can turn their product ideas into\n reality.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The webinars are geared for any design and manufacturing engineer who\n is working on a new product concept or needs help solving a design \nchallenge with an existing product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The series, launching with five episodes this year, will feature:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Aug. 27, 11 a.m. ET \u2013 Passport to Performance: Maximizing Device Capabilities with&nbsp;Sintered Particles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the key types of porous polymers, sintered particle materials \nare engineered from various polymers with controlled pore sizes to \nprovide outstanding strength, durability, chemical resistance, \nresiliency, and design flexibility across multiple applications.
